Selena Gomez can say a thousand things about her singleness, that the rest of the world will draw a different conclusion. It happened again this week and the singer could only resign and respond forcefully to the rumors that she has returned with one of her ex, Samuel Krost.
To recap, both fans and different tabloids began to speculate about it on Wednesday, when media such as the British Daily Mail echoed photos of Gomez and Krost in New York. Both had been having a drink this past Tuesday night at La Esquina, a trendy Mexican restaurant in New York’s SoHo, and the paparazzi photographed them as they entered and left the place. The rest are all seemingly hasty conclusions at celebrty insider news website.
Krost and Gomez briefly came out between the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016, when photographers took snapshots of them having dinner together and holding hands.
“I’m not dating anyone. I’ve been single for two years,” Gomez said flatly in his Instagram stories on Wednesday. “I go to the rhythm that God imposes on me, not me.”
The singer of ‘Lose You to Love Me‘ had already been clear precisely a few days ago, when in an interview she said that she has been “super, super single for two years.” Gomez added that he wanted to know what his next love will be like: “I want it to be real and I don’t want it to be a codependent relationship or a disaster, or that there is no communication between the two. When you get older, you find the right people for you because you’re on the same wavelength as that person.”
It can, therefore, be concluded that Krost is only a good friend. The young entrepreneur is the founder of a fashion brand that bears his last name, KROST. His firm specializes in minimalist capsule collections and collaborations with non-profit organizations such as March For Our Lives, which supports stricter gun control legislation in the United States. The motto of KROST, which also tops the biography of the entrepreneur’s Instagram profile, is “Support your friends.”
